Berit Lånke, the manager of Nidaros Pilgrim Centre, is appointed as director of the Temporary National Pilgrimage Centre. The centre is organized as a project under the Directorate of Cultural Heritage and will be established in Trondheim in 2011.

Director Jørn Holme at the Directorate of Cultural Heritage is very happy to wish Berit Lånke welcome as director of the Temporary National Pilegrimage Centre. – She is the right person to lead the new centre. She is a very competent person filled with enthusiasm.
– It is very exciting to be able to participate in this work from the beginning, Berit Lånke says. – I’m looking forward to building a comprehensive organization that is important for all the pilgrim centres in Norway and in Europe.
Berit Lånke has a MA in Theology and she has been engaged in pilgrimage in many years.
The Temporary National Pilgrimage Centre
The Temporary National Pilgrimage Centre is organized as a project under the Directorate of Cultural Heritage and will be established in Trondheim in 2011. The Pilgrimage Centre will have the responsibility for the pilgrim ways in Norway. The director of the centre will coordinate and manage the pilgrimage in Norway. Berit starts in her new job in April 2011.
The Nidaros Pilgrim Centre congratulates Berit with her new position and is looking forward to a good co-operation with the Temporary National Pilgrimage Centre.
